SOME NOTES:
As Dark Sunrise didn't race with me she seemed to have a spectacular career. She was a filly that demanded respect on the tracks. While she was an average juvenile she came down to business within her 3 year old career and progressed further as a four year old. She took on the Triple Tiara and came in second place fighting for the finish. She won the Alot to live up to stakes and in her four year old season she won the Dubai Filly Cup which is another proud achievement along with winning the Unicorn Horn Mile and the Breeder's Cup Ladies Classic all within the same year.

Dark Sunrise loves to run and if anyone knew her knows that her tricks and speed with being a strong closer and scaring her opponents from behind has come far to now be a Grade one thoroughbred and a champion in my eyes. She is also going to prove great in the broodmare barn where her first foal dropped is now yearling All That Jazz by Jazzman. I feel she deserves this title to live up to her sires and dam's reputation. She certainly showed major progression. She deserves the title of Hall of Fame.

I just don't think her wins are quite strong enough. If she'd won more of the races she placed in I'd be more like to say yes, but I just don't think she's quite there. I'm sorry! D:

I'm in agreement with Kenren on her Sammy. She didn't have the awesome consistency that most of the horses had by the time they were nominated for the Hall Of Fame.

So I actually raced this mare during her first two seasons, most importantly through the Triple Tiara when she lost to Born To Soar every race. She is just not Hall of Fame quality. She improved spectacularly with Kirsty, but not well enough for induction here. Sorry Sammy!

Its fine honesty is welcomed. A girl has to try. Although Queen of Hearts is of the Breeding hall of fame not hall of fame lol.

Agreeing with the others. She had a great last season but looking at her major wins I know that many HOF horses have got more than that in a season than she has in her career. May Dirt Stakes and Sweetheart Stakes are not major races either. I'm sure she'll be an excellent broodie!
